worldwide sales and marketing of the following processes :
- MCP 70 Technology:originally a manual process used practically in all hospitals in Europe and later an automated process for realizing exact radiotherapy shields, driven from patient related CT data.
- Fusible core technology:developing the use of low melting metal alloys to produce complex, internally undercut thermoplastic components for increasing efficiency in high performance engine inlet manifolds.
- Metal spray mould technology: used for producing rapid large moulds for polyurethane, aircraft and automotive composite carbon body parts and more importantly for quick mould making for injection moulded plastic parts.
- Vacuum casting: for producing quick, accurate plastic and metal prototypes: up to 98% cost and time saving when utilizing 3-D printed models, initiating a worldwide revolution in creativity and speed in automotive design and development.
- 2001: Introduction of the first CAD driven, pure metal 3-D printer (SLM) Selective Laser Melting for high cost and time reductions for producing dental and orthopedic implants and complex industrial parts in stainless steel, titanium, gold and aluminium.
- Joint patent holder for: “Method and Device for Making Moulds and Tools ( WO/1998/015372)“. For producing quick and accurate Nylon PA 6 parts using silicone rubber moulds.
- Leading participant in the EU sponsored project “Brite Euram Rapitool BRE20325”. Aims: to utilize 3-D printed Stereolithography models to develop rapid mould production techniques. MCP achieved excellent results among 7 other participants using MCP´s wholly recycle-able low melt alloys to realize 250 polyproplene mouldings in 3 days from a 3-D model.

Travel experiences
October 1964 Sheffield
Through a Sunday newspaper I got an invitation to work on an Archeological site in Israel. At that time hitch- hiking was by far the cheapest way to get arround , so I back- packed from Sheffield through Belgium, Luxemburg, France , Spain to Gibralter. There I met an American, John and we decided
to cross North Africa together . The route across North Africa to get to Cairo is long ! You need to cross to Ceuta on the African mainland and then pass through Maroco , Algeria, Tunisia, Lybia and finally Kairo. We both had a problem on the Tunisien/Lybien border. They told us to go to the Lybian Consulat – in Tunis ,1400 Km there and back, and get visas to enter Lybia. This took us 3 days over a weekend using taxis , busses and hitch-hiking ! On arriving in Cairo we made a 500 Km trip to visit Luxor ,Valley of the Kings , 3000 years old and to absorb everything needs a full week. John, my American friend had allready planned to carry on to S.Africa and I took a boat ( deck class) from Alexandria to Beriut. Getting from Beriut to Jerusalem is a relative short one day trip through Syria. In Jerusalem I met a German guy, Henning from Hamburg who also wanted to cross into Israel to find work. I remenber that we donated blood to get money , but not before they had checked our religion to make sure we are not Jewisch!! It was cold and Christmas time in Jerusalem so we hitch-hiked 400 Km to Akaba on the Red Sea. We met 6 young sailors from East Germany. They were very freindly and they invited us to their boat to enjoy New Years Eve. Akaba is only 7 Km from Elat/Israel where Henning and I wanted to work. However there is no gateway crossing to Eilat. So we had to hitch-hike back to Jerusalem , cross into Israel to hitch-hike back to Elat - only 7 Km from Akaba !!. Once in Israel we found jobs. One in the Timna copper mines and Henning on a Desalinationplant at the harbour .The work was relativly easy and we got a good lunch after each shift. The weather is acceptable in the winter but in the sommer , it is practically impossible to work at all. Luckily a German professor was looking for young people to work on an Archeological site . Henning and I joined and the work was very interesting and the pay , the food and the logings in the kibutz was great. We remained in Elat from Christmas to March after which we where on our way to Haifa to get a boat to Istanbul. Haifa nach Istanbul ist eine 3 Day Trip with a stop in Izmir. Iststanbul is extremely interesting but after 4 days we needed to push on to Bulgaria , Rumania , Bukarest and Hungary . All these Cities are beatiful ,having never been bombed. We finally arrived in Austria ( Viena) also extremely interesting. Henning had a friend in Düssedorf, Germany who was kind enough to put us up for several days. Ron decided to remain in Hamburg for a while . Unfortunately at that time, 1965, it was only possible to work in a Hotel , on a Farm or in a hospital.
Henning made a few calls to hospitals and Ron got a job.
Trip : October. 1964 – Juni 1965 / 14.000 Km
Absolutely no incident during the whole trip.
Ron met his wife Heidi in the hospital he was working in.
Beno Rothenberg : Valley of the Biblical Copper Mines
